awesomeness alert - a super shiny flormar duochrome

If you're reading this post, you've probably seen the title. This time I'm only going to write a short description and let the photos do the talking...

Flormar Supershine Miracle Colors U08 is a duochrome polish that has indigo blue as a base and flashes purple when exposed to light. But wait! It also has small glass flecks. I seriously don't know how to describe this polish! I doubt that someone won't be impressed by its beauty! Though, I must admit that after a while I was overwhelmed by the shine and sparkles.

essence wall of fame (urban messages TE)

Hey guys! Today I'm going to show you one gorgeous polish from Essence's Urban Messages TE (yes, they actually brought it here after all these months).

Essence Wall Of Fame is a lovely greenish yellow polish with subtle yellow shimmer. It's opaque in 2 coats. The application was okay, though you might experience some streakiness. The shimmer doesn't show properly on the photos, unfortunately :(

The next photo is the only one where you can notice the shimmer.

Thanks for reading. I've got some awesome polishes coming up for you, stay tuned! :)

dinosaur's egg

Here's a cute one I did today... It's very simple. A coat of white, then some mint green and lavender pink sponged on top of it and some stamping (or freehand if you don't have this design) and there you have it! :)

I don't know why, but it reminds me of dinosaur's eggs. I don't really know what they look like, but I've probably seen something similar on a cartoon or something :)

My cuticles are disgusting again! I'm always having trouble with this black polish. By far it's the best black for stamping, but the excess I get on my cuticles is very hard to remove and it always leaves a bit which gets on my nerves :(

here's one for valentine's

Good morning everyone!
Today I'm going to show you a cute stamping manicure that I did two or three days ago, which turned out to be my tribute for Valentine's. Since this was not intended, I'm going to make another one for you in a couple of days :) We've had some extreme snowfall for the past week, so excuse the gloominess of the photos.
First of all, I'm going to show you yet another new nail polish - Gabrini Elegant 304. It's a light pink creme with golden flecks in it

Since the shimmer is golden and I was looking for something a bit more elegant, I stamped over using Golden Rose Nail Art 108, a gold nail art polish. Here's how that turned out.

Base color: Gabrini Elegant 304
Stamping color: Golden Rose Nail Art 108
Stamping plate: BM-206

my glittery frankens

One of my biggest wishes is to have my own line of nail polishes. I bet I'd make the craziest colors! I've already posted a couple of posts about my franken polishes and today I'll show you another four of them. I'm not the most creative person when it comes to naming the polishes, so I use song titles most of the time. Enjoy!

Here are the glitters layered over some random bases. Scroll down for close-up of each.

L-R: Let's Make Out,  Year of Robots, Not In Love, We Are Rockstars
Here are the base colors, just so that you can compare.

L-R: Catherine Arley 183, Gabrini Elegant 352, Golden Rose Paris Nail Lacquer 70 & 108

Let's Make Out
(small hex and string holo glitter + extra small and extra large hex iridescent glitter)

Year of Robots
(silver stars + large holo hex glitter + random colored round glitter + pieces of silver foil)

Not In Love
(huge red hex glitter + red hearts + small round red glitter)

We Are Rockstars

Thanks for reading and have a nice evening!

my first magnetic nail polish!

I finally got my first magnetic nail polish (almost a week ago, but some health issues prolonged the swatching, unfortunately). I've been wearing it for a couple of days and I must say that I love it! There were many shades to choose from, yet I chose the green one called Golden Rose Magnetic 04. There weren't actual swatches, but some computer generated images of how the polishes are supposed to look and all of them failed to impress me, but the blue and the green one, and since I always complain about my lack in green polishes I chose this one in the end.

The magnet creates diagonal lines which can easily be transformed into horizontal or vertical, and you can also make different looks by creating different types of lines. It's large enough for longer and wider nails. The application was a bit hard, because the formula is slightly runnier than normal polishes and it can flood your cuticles if you're not careful. The drying time was a bit slower, in my opinion it's the only downside of this gorgeous polish. A coat of quick drying top coat can always fix the problem.

Have a nice evening :)
